Ionia Sentinel Standard, 14 Jun 1966

William O. Elens, 68, of Goodemoot road, Sebewa township, died Monday morning at
Veterans Administration hospital in Battle Creek.  Mr. Elens, who moved to Ionia
county in 1913 and had resided here since, was born July 11, 1897, to Peter and
Louisa Elens in Joliet, Ill.  He was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Linus Rockey of route three and Mrs. Bert
McPherson of Belding, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Stone-Kauffman funeral home with interment
in Tuttle cemetery.
