Chet Eller, 45, of Lyons, born Aug. 25, 1967, succumbed to his battle with 
cancer in his home on July 5, 2013, surrounded by his family and friends. He 
was born in Muskegon and moved to Lyons in 1979, with his mother and sister.

Chet was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors, searching for morel 
mushrooms and loved spending time with his family. He worked for Randy Merren 
Auto Sales as an R.V. Technician and he enjoyed fixing campers in his spare 
time.

Chet had a witty sense of humor and if  you were lucky enough to receive a 
nickname from him, it meant you held a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Gertrude Eller; father, George 
Ehrig; grandparents Carl and Eva Ehrig and Carrie and Patrick Hogan, Sr.; and 
niece, Angela DuRose.

Surviving are his wife Christine M. Eller; sons, Andrew C. Eller and Nicholas 
A. Alberts (Ashley Holton), all of Lyons; brothers Raymond Eller from the U.P. 
and James (Sheri) of Crossville, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Robert (Becky) Wizoerk 
of Ionia; sisters Mary (Dale) Wise of Lyons, Carrie (Robert) Castillo of Ionia, 
LaDonna LaSalle of Lyons and Georgina (Daniel) Henry of Palo; father-and mother-
in-law Robert and Vearl Wizorek; many loving nieces and nephews; beloved pets 
Crybaby, Maya and Gizmo. There will be no services or visitation at his 
request. Arrangements are with Lehman Funeral Homes, 220 Rich St., Ionia, MI 
48846.
