Sentinel-Standard - Thursday NOv. 6, 1941

Mrs. Lillian May Elliot, 32, of 417 Taylor Court, died suddenly at her home at 
9:45 Wednesday evening just three days after returning rom the Ionia community 
hospital where she had submitted to a major operation.

Mrs. Elliott was born February 2, 1909, in the state of Washington, her maiden 
name being Lillian Randall. She came to Ionia in 1931.

The only surviving relative is her husband, Floyd Elliot. The couple were 
married in Ionia on November 14, 1932. Previous to her death, Mrs. Elliot had 
been ill three months. The funeral will be held from the Myers funeral home 
Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock and interment will be in the family lot at Balcom 
cemetery.
