Ionia Sentinel Standard, 1 May 1990

Marilynn L. Elliott, 76, of Lansing, died April 27 in Lansing.  She was born
Jan. 21, 1914 in Ann Arbor.  She graduated from Eastern Michigan University, and
taught in Ionia in the 1930s.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H.R. Elliott, in 1988.  Surviving are
one daughter, Sue Bannerman of Dansville; two sons, James Elliott of Florida and
William Elliott of Olivet; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; special
friend, Jerry Smith of Lansing.

A private graveside service will be held at Highland Park Cemetery in Ionia. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the Woldumar Nature Center, 5539 Lansing
Road, Lansing.  Arrangements are by the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home, Lansing.
