Ionia Daily Standard, 19 & 20 Apr 1901

Maude, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Elliott, of North Union street, died very
soon after the noon hour today.  She was aged 18 years.  Deceased had been in a
delicate health for several months, but it was not until a month ago that her
condition became alarming, since which time she grew steadily weaker.  She was a
young lady beloved by many friends, and the stricken parents have the sympathy
of all in their deep grief.

The funeral for Miss Maude Elliott will be attended from the home, North Union
street, at 2:30 on Monday afternoon.  Interment will be in Highland Park.
