Ionia Daily Sentinel, 25 & 27 Oct 1915

George Ellis, aged 32 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.A. Ellis, died this morning
at his home in Grand Rapids.  The funeral services will be held at Grand Rapids
and the remains will be brought to Ionia, the city of his birth, for burial,
arriving Wednesday morning at 11:45 and being taken direct to Highland Park
cemetery.

The remains of Geo. N. Ellis were brought here at noon from Grand Rapids where
he died and taken to Highland Park cemetery where burial took place.  In the
party were Mr. and Mrs. A.A. Ellis and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ellis.  The
pallbearers were from the young Ionian’s former school friends and were A.A.
Nichol, R.L. Benedict, Arthur Colvin, Claude M. Faude, Leo Rector and Lee Yates.
