Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Sat. June 16, 2012

Bette Jean Ellis, 84, of Lyons passed away June 14, 2012. she was born March 3, 
1928. She was a past member of the Ionia Moose Lodge.

Better is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Joel) Palmer of Orleans; sister, 
Helen Snyder of Vickeryville and Darlene (Frank) Heckman of Hubbardston; 
grandchildren, Lori Palmer and Carl Cooper of Grand Rapids, Angie Palmer and 
John Stack of Ada and Joel Palmer Jr. and Sharon Carlson of Orleans. Eight 
great grandchildren, for great great grandchildren and three step great 
grandchildren also survive, and many special friends at Bluewater Café.

Bette was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul and Russell; and 
sisters, Dixie Twigs and Judy Hartman.

Upon her request cremation has taken place and there will be no services. 
Arrangements by the Lake Funeral Home in Muir. Online condolences may be made
