Ionia Daily Sentinel - Sept. 5, 1912

The funeral services for Miss Lillian Ellis were held yesterday in Greenville 
and the remains brought afterward to Ionia for burial, which took place at the 
Balcom cemetery. Miss Ellis died at St. Louis, MO. where she made her home. The 
remains were brought to Michigan by a brother, E.E. Ellis of Kansas City. The 
funeral and burial were attended by Mr. and Mrs. A.A. Ellis of Grand Rapids, 
Mr. and Mrs. B. Woodruff of Greenville, Mrs. E.E. Ellis of Saginaw, mother of 
the deceased. Mrs. Kittie Hubbard of Elgin, Ill., and Miss Alice Ober of 
Saginaw.
