Ionia today is preparing to pay its last tribute to its former mayor. Attorney A. A. Ellis, who died at his Grand Rapids home yesterday and who will be buried here Wednesday. Business men, fraternal orders and citizens who knew the former chief executive of this city and former attorney general of the state are planning on attending the funeral. Masonic rites will (illegible word) the service. Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, April 26, 1921 Mayor Fred W. Green respectfully asks that all citizens may meet at the depot when the body will arrive from Grand Rapids on the train scheduled to be here at (illegible word) city time. It is expected that the body will be carried between long lanes of citizens, who will pay respect to his memory. The main funeral will be held at the residence in Grand Rapids at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
