Ionia Standard, 24 Jan 1896

Lewis Ellis, a pioneer of Otisco, died Tuesday night.  He was in the 85th year of 
his age, and came to Otisco in the fall of 1842.  He lived a conscientious life 
that won the esteem of all who knew him.
