Grant Ellison, 76, of 198 Division, Saranac, died Tuesday evening at his home.  
Born in Easton township February 23, 1894, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Napoleon B. Ellison.

He was married June 9, 1928 in Sunfield to Edna B. Simmons and was a resident 
and farmer in Easton township until 1956.  He lived the next nine years in 
Greenville and the past five years at Saranac.

Surviving besides his wife, Edna, are three sons, Billie and Robert of Lowell 
and Napoleon B. Ellison of Saranac; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Burns Schauer of 
Brookfield, Ill., Mrs. Bertha McMullen of Comstock Park; 13 grandchildren and 
two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Morris-Roetman funeral home in 
Saranac.  Interment will be at Easton cemetery.  Family will be at the funeral 
home Wednesday and Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m.
