Mrs. William Ellison passed away at the Ellison home near Miriam Sunday, August 
22, aged 37 years.

In her death five children are left without a mother’s care, the oldest being a 
daughter of 17 years.

Mrs. Ellison had been sick for some time and had received the best of care and 
medical treatment.  The deceased was formerly Delia Wickham of this city.  Her 
parents Mr. and Mrs. John Wickham reside in Lakeview.

The funeral was held in the Catholic church in Miriam Wednesday morning at ten 
o’clock, Fr. Zindler officiating.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was 
buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Miriam.]
