Edna B. Ellison, 91, of Lansing died Saturday, March 19, 1994, at Sparrow
Hospital in Lansing.  She was born Sept. 20, 1902, in Lakeview to Warren and
Hester (Simmons) Simmons.  She married Grant Ellison on Sept. 9, 1928 in Sunfield.

She is survived by three sons, Bill H. Ellison and Robert L. Ellison both of
Lowell, N.B. Ellison of Fenwick; one daughter, Maude Jean Balmes of Lansing; 14
grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.  Her
husband, Grant, one daughter, two brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at the Lake Funeral Home Monday at 1 p.m. with
Michael McLenithan officiating.  Internment will be in the Easton Cemetery. 
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society in memorial of her daughter
Bertha.
