Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Monday, April 6, 1931

Mrs. E.W. Ellison, 56, 315 Center street, died Sunday afternoon following a 
long illness, the last few weeks of which she has spent in bed. The funeral 
services will be conducted at the home by Rev. W.F. Boettcher Tuesday afternoon 
at 2 o'clock.

Mrs. Ellison was born in Easton and had her lived her life in Ionia county. Her 
first marriage was to William Crites and for several years while he was living 
they resided in Lyons. Later they  moved to the vicinity of Easton, where Mr. 
Crites died a few months after an accident. Since her marriage to Mr. Ellison 
they have resided in Ionia.

Mrs. Ellison's only child, Mrs. Guy Balice, died a few months ago, leaving two 
children, who with her brother, Earl Weaver of Crystal and her husband survive.
