Sentinel-Std. - Monday, Jan. 29, 1962

Masonic funeral services for John E. Ellison, 54, was conducted at 1 o'clock 
Saturday afternoon by the Worshipful Master Faye Hall, assisted by Wayne Kline, 
chaplain Rev. Ray R. Fassett of EUB church, officiated and temporary entombment 
was at Balcom cemetery.

Warden George Kropp and employees of Michigan Reformatory and members of Ionia 
Lodge 38, F&AM, attended in groups.

Attending from out of town were Mrs. Caroline Floro and Mrs. and Mrs. Ray 
Ellison of Ashtabula, Ohio, Mrs. Elizabeth Peters, Mrs. Jesse Otto and Mrs. 
Lena Lang of Toledo, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. John Ellison, Jr., of Warren, Mr. and 
Mrs. Robert Floro of Mentor, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. William Kaval and Mr. and Mrs. 
Melvin Miller of Cleveland, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gillespie of Jackson and Mr. 
and Mrs. Glen Blackburn of Rodney.
