The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, June 21, 1932
Mrs. Anna Ellison, 73, who had been in poor health several months, died 
unexpectedly at her home, 621 Hackett street, early Tuesday morning.  She did 
not feel as well Monday night so her daughter, Mrs. Maude Bradford, remained 
with her during the night and was at the home when she died.

Mrs. Ellison was born in Keene township and was a lifelong resident of the 
county.  She lived on the farm in Keene township until 15 years ago when she 
came to Ionia.  Mr. Ellison died in February 1926.  She leaves the daughter; a 
son, John of Muir; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Abbott, of Grand 
Rapids.  She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and the Royal 
Neighbors.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the 
Stebbins funeral home by Dr. M. W. Duffey.  Burial will be in Easton cemetery.
