Funeral Services for Mrs. Ellison

The funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ellison, who died at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Fred Winslow, 32 Front street, the morning of July 4, following a
stroke 24 hours previous, will be held from Stebbins’ funeral home Friday
morning at 10 o’clock, and burial will take place in Barryton.

Mrs. Ellison was born in Ohio 73 years ago, and came to Allegan with her
parents, making the trip by wagon, when she was a mere child.  Recent years she
has spent with her children, Mrs. Fred Winslow of Ionia; Mrs. O.J. Coburn,
Lansing; Mrs. Gertrude Price, Barryton; William King, Greenville

She had been married twice, her first husband dying in Barryton 20 years ago,
and her second husband, Samuel Ellison, died 11 years ago.  She was a member of
the Church of Christ
