Bridge street, following several years of ill health and a severe and painful illness which had confined him to his home and bed for the past five months. Surviving is his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Elmendorf, a sister, Mrs. Alice Graham, of Grand Rapids; four daughters, Mrs. Orrie Allen, the Misses Pearl, Ruth and Dorothy Elmendorf, at home, as also one son, Truman, also at home. Funeral services in charge of the local Odd Fellow lodge, of which deceased was a member, will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, Rev. H. S. Ellis officiating and burial will be in River Ridge cemetery by the side of his wife, who preceded him in death three years ago. Mr. Elmendorf has resided in this city for the past eight years and came here from Walker, where he formerly resided.
