Dr. Ronald B. Elsie, 52, of Portland, died Tuesday, July 15 at the St. 
Lawrence Hospital in Lansing, after a brief illness.  He was a practicing 
chiropractic physician for 27 years. 

Dr. Elsie was a member of the Michigan Chiropractic Association, Sunfield Blue 
Lodge No. 455, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason, and the 
Portland Chamber of Commerce.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Mrs. Henry Baumgras and Mary 
Alice Elsie, both of Portland; one grandchild; his mother, Mrs. Frank Elsie of 
Grand Ledge; one brother, Jerold of Grand Ledge, and two sisters, Mrs. Vivian 
Kornstein of Coldwater and Mrs. A. J. Shaver of Las Vegan, Nevada.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 18, at 2 p.m. at the Neller Funeral 
Home in Portland with the Rev. Herbert Kinsey officiating.  Interment will be 
in the Portland Cemetery.
