The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, January 4, 1951

Services for Mrs. Lulu M. Elvert, 70, who died Sunday were conducted Wednesday 
at LeValley Methodist church.  Dr. Paul Stewart officiated assisted by the 
Rev. Henry Ball.  Interment was in Tuttle cemetery.  Bearers were Frank and 
Claude Townsend, Walter Husted, Louie Fitzgerald, Frank Soper and Gerald 
Robinson.

Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Walter Husted, Mrs. Gerald Robinson, Mrs. Frank 
Soper and Mrs. Harry Howard.  Mrs. Frank Stout was in charge of the music.

Attending the services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Townsend, 
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Townsend, B. E. Townsend, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bowers, Mrs. 
Anna Berry, Mrs. Dora Gangraw and Mrs. Fred Heydlauf of Durand; Mr. and Mrs. 
A. W. McIntyre and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Townsend of Flint, Mrs. W. F. Elvert 
of Muskegon Heights; Mrs. Harry Howard of St. Johns; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Coe 
and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Reed of Lake Odessa; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Kimble of 
Saranac; Mr. and Mrs. William Harwood of Collins; Mr. and Mrs. Phil Baker of 
Marion; and Mrs. Leper and Mrs. Ethel Morse of Battle Creek.
