Excerpts from Ionia Obituary

YVONNE ELAINE ELVERT

Died May 4, 2026-age 78 of Ionia, surrounded by 3 nieces & her son, Ronald 
(Kris) Elvert.
Born December 2, 1947, daughter of Wesley & Regina Harp.
Graduated from Ionia High School in 1966.
Married Robert "Bob" Elvert on April 14, 1972.
Yvonne worked for many years at the Ionia Friend of the Court before retiring.
She was a member of the LeValley United Methodist Church.
Yvonne and Bob cherished their time spent wintering together in Florida.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob, Sons Edward & Robert; 
granddaughter Alisha Elvert & her sister, Theresa Harp.
Survived by her brothers, Mike (Marilyn Harp & Joe (Diane) harp, daughter Sue 
(Joe) Phelps, along with many cherished great nieces and nephews. Her Nieces 
Shawn (Forrest) Smith, Lorinda Hills & Timothy (Stacie) Burns that were with her 
when she died.
Also her grandchildren;Ryan (Katie) Elvert, Becky (Mitch) Camp, Gaven Elvert, 
Tiffany and Kirk Arnsby, Scott (Nikki) Elvert.
Her great-grandchildren; Cannon, Stephenie and Axel Camp and Sophia & Preston 
Guernsey.
Memorial service will be at LeValley Methodist Church, 4018 Kelsey Hwy., Ionia, 
MI on Thursday, May 7th at 11:00am with Pastor Nancy Patera officiating.
Interment to follow at Balcom Cemetery with her husband Robert.
Visitation will be at the church on Thursday 1 hour prior to services.
Those wishing may make memorial contributions to LeValley Methodist Church.
