Ionia Sentinel Standard
Mrs. Clara C. Ely, 48, of 1812 Maplewood, Lansing, died Sunday, July 10 at her 
home.  She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.  Surviving are the 
husband, Dalen; two sons, Bruce and Dennis; one daughter, Andrea; one brother, 
Alvin Huhn of Lansing, and six sisters, Mrs. Adelia Croope of Irons, Mrs. 
Matilda Whitelock of Long Lake, Mrs. Sadie Reed of Lansing, Mrs. Mary Long of 
Detroit, Mrs. Viola Newberg of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Anna Cook of Pewamo.

Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock at Immaculate Heart of 
Mary church.  The Rev. Fr. Joseph Wieber will officiate and interment will be 
at St. Joseph cemetery.

The rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 8 o’clock at the Palmer-Bush 
funeral home.
