The death of Mrs. Mary A. Ely occurred at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. 
Jacob Weaver, Sunday morning, March 21, at 9 o’clock, aged 80 years and six 
months.

The deceased came here last August to visit her daughter but her health failed 
and with her declining years she was unable to rally from her last sickness.  
Funeral services were conducted at the house at 3:30 o’clock by Rev. G. W. 
Maxwell and the remains, accompanied by Mr. Weaver were taken to Brockville, 
Ont.  She leaves three daughters, Mrs. W. J. Hazlewood of Brantford, Ont., Mrs. 
L. W. Oagley of Norwich, N. Y., and Mrs. Jacob Weaver of this city, all of whom 
were at her bedside in her last hours.
