Sentinel-Standard - Wednesday, Sept. 7, 1983

SARANAC- Dayton Elzey, 65, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died there Aug. 28.

He was born in Indiana, Aug. 13, 1918, the son of Dayton Elzey and Pearl 
Tanner.

He married his wife, Irene in 1977.

He entered the United States Navy in 1940 and made the Navy his career.

Survivors include his wife, Irene; and three sisters, Lucille Hoffman of 
Fremont Lake, Louella Hopkins of Ionia and Shirley Fredericks of South 
Carolina.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Saranac Cemetery.

Arrangements were by the Leddick Funeral Home.
