SARANAC - Frances M. Emelander, 77, of Saranac, died at her residence Monday. 

She was born December 17, 1915, n Eagle river, the daughter of Vernon and 
Nettie Livingston Judevine.

She was a member of the Saranac Community Church, Eastern Star, and White 
Shrine. She was past-president of the Retired Techers Assoc.

She married Russell R. Haverstick in 1940. He preceded her in death in 1958.

She married Harry E. Emelander in 1960. He preceded her in death in 1980.

she is survived by her son Ross Haverstick of Saranac; two daughters, Jeannette 
Miller of Nevada and Nadine Tiejema of Saranac; her brother Danon Judevine of 
Arizona; three sisters, Mildred Collins of Traverse City, Virginia Lemmein of 
Galesburg and Elfreda Hartmen of Arizona; and sever grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Saranac Community Church, with the 
Rev. Roger LaWarre officiating.

Burial will be in Woodard Lake Cemetery.
