Portland Observer, 26 Apr 1972

Mrs. Emmett Emery, 82, died April 7 in her Shortsville, New York home, according
to word received by relatives and friends in Portland.

Mrs. Emery was born in Portland and was the former Frances Dilley, granddaughter
of the late Josiah Dilley and a sister of Portland resident, Mrs. Chester
Blanchard.

Surviving besides her husband, Emmett Emery, is one daughter, Mrs. Leonard
Hawkins of Southhampton, N.Y., one granddaughter, and one great granddaughter.
