Belding Banner-News, 16 Aug 1962

Mrs. Mary E. Emery, 82, died at the Frisbie Nursing Home, Aug. 8.  She had been
there one month.  She was born in Deerfield Twp. Mecosta County, July 18, 1880,
daughter of Wells and Ella Edgerley.  She was married to William Rittersdorf who
died in 1939.  Later she married Oscar Emery and he died in 1958.  Mrs. Emery
was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, Muskegon Chapter.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. John (Helen) Jarvela and Mrs. Lawrence
(Luella) Heether of Belding, Mrs. Kenneth (Clara) Miller of Santa Fe., N.M., and
Mrs. Walter (Jacklyn) Malaj? of Albuquerque, N.M.  There is also a sister, Mrs.
Keats K. Vining of Grand Rapids, two brothers, Allen Edgerley of Morley and D.R.
Edgerley of Grandville, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Mrs. Emery was transferred from Huffman Funeral Home to the Alvin H. Will
Funeral Home in Muskegon where services were held Saturday with the Order of
Eastern Star officiating.  Burial was in Mona View Cemetery, Muskegon Heights.
