Emmons, died Thursday evening of typhoid fever. Her age was 26, and she leaves one child. Funeral service at residence on North Dexter street, tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. ------------ Funeral Service for Mrs. Emmons. The funeral service for Mrs. Ernest J. Emmons, conducted by Rev. Dr. Cogshall, was held at the family home on North Dexter street at 10:30 Saturday morning. There was a good attendance of neighbors and friends and sympathy and esteem was manifest in the beautiful floral tributes. The singing was by Miss S.A. Comstock. Helena, wife of Ernest J. Emmons, was born in Ionia on the 29th of November, 1879, and died Dec. 28, 1905, at age of 26 years and one month. She leaves a husband and one child, Florence, three years old; also, four sisters – Mrs. Chas. Cheney, Mrs. Alva Kirsheman, and Miss Rose Schutz, of this city, and Mrs. Frank Cheney of Flint and one brother, Frank Schutz of this city.
