BELDING- Floyd O. Emmons Sr., 82, of Belding, died Sunday morning, Feb. 17, 
2013 at home.

Floyd was born on Sept. 6, 1930, in Ionia, the son of Floyd H. and Mildred 
(Badder) Emmons. 

He had retired from Extruded Metals Corporation after serving 42 years as a die 
repair man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and walks around town.

He was married on Oct. 16, 1948, in Ionia, to Virginia Feathers and she 
preceded him on April 2, 2005.

Floyd is loved and survived by his children, Francis (Marge) Emmons, April 
Enbody (Landon), all of Belding, Regina (Leroy) Conklin of Greenville and Floyd 
(Julie) Emmons of Albion, Ind.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 
his brother, Barry (Bonnie) Emmons of Cedar Springs, Leonard (Liz) Emmons of 
Wright, Wyo., and a half sister, Betty (Bob) Sly, of Sheridan.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ward and two in 
infancy; four sisters, Lena Jenks, Helen Emmons, Ruth Wilbur and Agnes Bailey; 
and one daughter, Marilyn Stearns.

Funeral and Committal services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, at Johnson-Feuerstein 
funeral Home, Belding, with Rev. Anne Hollenbeck officiating. Visitation will 
be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Rest 
Haven Memory Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society. Messages of
