Ionia Daily Sentinel, 14 Mar 1942

Funeral services were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. from the Myers funeral home 
for Philip P. Endres, 57, who died suddenly Tuesday morning.  Rev. Fr. John S. 
Fons of SS Peter and Paul church officiated and interment was at Mt. Olivet 
cemetery.

Bearers were John Schafer, Herbert Ross, Len Greenhoe, Harold Haag, William 
Bannan and Verne Peabody.  Members of the Loyal Order of the Moose attended the 
service in a group.

Those attending the service from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Veryl Vickers, 
Terry and Sharon Lou Vickers of Grand Rapids; Mrs. Emma Fetz of Royal Oak; Mrs. 
Alfred Lynch and daughter, Mrs.Regina Hahn, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Higgins and 
daughter, Margaret, Mrs. Thomas Higgins, Jr., all of Detroit; Mrs. Vernica 
Vanderveen and son, Gordon, Michael Shoemaker, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Johnson, Mr. 
and Mrs. Jacob Moulter, Mrs. Bessie Schlosser and daughter, Helen, and Mr. and 
Mrs. Herman Schlosser of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Leonard, Jr., of 
Byron Center; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Leonard of North Door, Mr. and Mrs. 
Lawrence Leonard of New Salem; Mrs. Anna Hiebel and Mrs. Margaret Kemp of 
Belding and Mr. and Mrs. L. Steinke of Grattan Center.
