The Ionia County News, Thursday, March 12, 1942
Philip P. Endres died very suddenly about nine o’clock Monday morning, March 
9, following a heart attack.  Several months ago he was seriously ill of 
pneumonia which left a bad heart condition.

Mr. Endres was born in Ionia July 3, 1884 and except for a few years spent in 
the western states, had always lived in Ionia.  He was employed at Corcoran’s, 
S. Dexter St.

Surviving are his widow, Ruby; one daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Vickers, and three 
grandchildren of Grand Rapids, a sister, Mrs. Frank Biehler and a brother John 
Endres, Ionia.

Funeral will be held from Myers Funeral home at two o’clock Friday afternoon.  
Burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
