Hastings Reminder, 28 Feb 2015

Bonita Kay Engel went home to be with her Savior on February 22, 2015, in Ozark,
MO.  She was born Bonita Kay West in Nashville, MI on May 31, 1949 to parents,
Bon and Cecile West.  Bonita was a graduate of Nashville High School and
attended Ferris State College.  She spent most of her life in the Ionia area. 
She was zany, fun and young at heart.  She will be missed by the many who knew
and loved her.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 36 years, David; sons, Blaine Donders and
Michael Whitmore; daughter, Kitina Braithwaite; step-daughters, Melinda Engel
and Michelle Engel; brothers, Ron West and Ray West; son-in-law, Bryan
Braithwaite; daughter-in-law Kathy Donders; grandchildren, Quentin Ross,
Brooklynn, Kelise, Kambria, Kosette, Cooper, Sophia, Zane and Benjamin;
step-grandchildren, Tony, Stevie, Sabrina, Cameron and Dylan.  She was preceded
in death by her parents; sisters, Loretta Leedy and Sally Musser; and a son,
Bryan Donders.

A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28,
2015 at Sebewa Church of God, 12910 Goddard Rd., Lake Odessa.  In lieu of
flowers, sympathy messages/gifts may be sent to: David Engel 806 W. Warren Ave.,
Springfield, MO 65721.
