Ionia Sentinel Standard, 21 Dec 1966

A rosary will be recited at Huffman funeral home in Belding, Thursday at 9 p.m. 
for Frank Engemann, 82, of 901 West State street, Belding, who died 
unexpectedly at United Memorial hospital in Greenville, on December 20.

Now retired, Mr. Engemann was a partner in a grocery store.  He was a member of 
St. …[missing line]… Name society.

September 21, 1914 he married Gertrude McCaffery who died in 1963.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gerald Hooker of Rockford, two sons, Herbert 
J. Engemann and William F. Engemann of Belding; a sister Mrs. Lucy Byrne of 
route one, Lowell and two brothers, Hubert Engemann and Martin Engemann of 
Belding; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Josephs church in Belding.  
Rev. Fr. Charles Steves will officiate with burial in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
