English of Boston, died on Wednesday morning. He had been ill for several weeks, but was not considered dangerous until a few days before his death. Although young in years, in the very prime of life, he was one of the older residents, and was generally well known throughout the county. He had that genial, hearty courtesy belonging only to a large and generous soul and a refined character, was a man of broad and liberal views, and of the strictest integrity; so that while he was generally regarded as a man of the highest type of character and one of the most useful and influential citizens, it was in his social relations that he shone the brightest, where he was most valued and loved, and where he will be most deeply missed and longest regretted. We shall all miss his kind greetings and his sympathy and co-operation in local enterprises for the general welfare; but those who knew him best, and whose daily life was a part of his, will mourn him most, and to them will be extended the earnest sympathy of very many of our citizens.
