Lake Odessa 

Duane “Whitey” Enz, age 72, of Lake Odessa, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 
2011.

He was born April 16, 1939 in Woodland, the son of Carl and Ethel Enz.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carlene Bates.

Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Carol Enz; children, Deborah and Rod Gregg, 
Jim Enz, and Mitzi and Jon Krause; grandchildren, Calla Smith, Jamie Enz, 
Payton Krause, and  Rhyeli Krause; two great grandchildren, Makenzie and Lukas 
Vasquez; and siblings, Larry (Brenda) Enz and Linda (Norm) Mhyre.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 
Koops Funeral Chapel – Lake Odessa. Interment will be at the Woodland Memorial 
Park, Woodland. Memorial contributions in Duane’s name may be directed to 
Pennock Hospice.
