Ionia Sentinel, 5 Jun 1869

Died.

Epley – In Palo, May 11th, Hallie, son of Dr. C.C. and S.E. Epley, aged 2 yrs, 6
mos and 18 days.

The blow fell suddenly and the idolized child was born away.  He was one of
those precious little ones whose winsome ways won all hearts, and held that love
by very sweetness and childish affection.  “Suffer little children to come unto
me,” and Hallie went.  With Jesus now, he waits you, stricken parents, a
ministering angel of Almighty Love.
