The Belding Banner, Thursday, May 31, 1900


Dr. C. C. Eply, who has been in poor health for a long time, died Sunday, of 
paralysis.  Funeral Tuesday at Palo M. E. church, interment in Palo cemetery.  
The services under the auspices of Ionia lodge, No. 36, F. & A. M., of which 
deceased was a member.  He was 60 years of age and a man highly esteemed and 
well known.  Dr. Epley was formerly a resident of Belding removing from here 
to Palo about ten years ago.
