Wave, Wed. Nov. 26, 1980 SARANAC- Nora Erb. 81, of 320 Summit Street, Saranac, formerly of Clarksville, died on Nov. 17 at a Grand Ledge hospital. She was born on Sept. 5, 1899 in Bowne Township, the daughter of Emanuel and Rachel Blough Stahl. She attended Jennings rural school and married Ira Erb on Sept. 21, 1923 in Ionia. Mrs. Erb was a lifelong resident of the Clarksville and Saranac areas. She attended Clarksville Bible Church and the Galilee Baptist Church in Saranac. Survivor include her husband Ira, four daughters; Mrs. Antonio (Marcella) Martinez of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Jack (Vada) Fosburg of Mason, Mrs. Charles (Virginia) Raymer of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Irwin (Joan) Lockwood of Harvard, Ill; four sons, LaVern of Saranac, Clair of Marion, Ind., Keith of Lake Odessa and Roger of Lowell; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Vandusen of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Wes. (Esther) Clemens and Mrs. George (Bernice) Francisco, both of Lowell; three brothers, Gordon Stahl of Alto, Verne and Ralph Stahl, both of Clarksville, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Erb of Wayland 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. An infant daughter preceded her in death. Services were held Nov. 23 at the Clarksville Bible Church with Rev. Paul Boger officiating. Burial was in Bowne Mennonite Cemetery.
