Hasting's Reminder-Saturday October 28, 2023

Arnold Dean Erb

Arnold Dean Erb, age 90, of Lake Odessa went to be with his Lord and Savior on 
Monday, Oct. 23, 2023.

Arnold was born on June 15, 1933 and graduated from Lake Odessa High School in 
1951. He married  Linda (Tischer) on November 25, 1955. Arnold and Linda 
purchased a dairy farm in 1968 and milked cows until 1986. He was employed by 
the Department of Corrections for 10 years s a maintenance electrician. He was 
also active in church and a member of the Hasting's Gideon International. He 
enjoyed farming with his Allis Chalmers tractors, as well as traveling and 
visiting!

His beloved Linda, preceded him in death on Aug.7, 202 and he leaves behind his 
children; Anita Ackley, Nancy (Doug) Hendrick, Gordon (Jen) Erb, Kevin 
(Michele)Erb; ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is survived by 
his sister-in-law, Janet Okrei, Ann Marie (Paul) Karrar; brother-in-law, Corwin 
(Kay)T and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were Roy and Dorothy (Haney) Erb, Uncle Edsel Haney, in-
laws, Gerald and Fern Tischer.

Visitation was held at Daniels's Funeral Home at 9200 E.M79 Nashville, MI on 
Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023 and Thursday, October 26. visitation at Grace Community 
Church, 8950 M-79, Nashville,MI. A luncheon followed.

Special thanks to the staff at Woodland Meadows and Interim health Care.
