The Portland Observer, Thursday, November 16, 1922

Fred Erdman, aged 73, well known and highly respected aged pioneer resident of 
Sebewa and Danby townships, passed away Tuesday forenoon at 10 o’clock., at 
the home of his daughter, Mrs. Farrol Deatsman, east of Sebewa Corners.  Death 
was caused from hardening of the arteries.

Mr. Erdman leaves two daughters to mourn their loss; Mrs. Farrol Deatsman and 
Miss Agnes Erdman, both of Danby.

Funeral was held this (Thursday) afternoon from the home of his daughter, Rev. 
George Carter of Sunfield officiating.  Interment was made in Danby cemetery.
