The Portland Review, Thursday, December 23, 1948

Frank Peters Erdman, 81, of Danby, died Saturday night at the Wotring 
Convalescent Home near Grand Ledge.  He had been ill for about a year.  
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Mapes funeral home in Sunfield, the 
Rev. Harold E. Arman, officiating.

The deceased, who had resided in Danby nearly all his life, is survived by his 
wife Gertrude, daughter Mrs. Guy Dilley, of Sunfield; son Floyd Erdman of 
Danby; brother George Erdman of Portland, and sister Mrs. Lena Martindale, of 
northern Michigan.  There are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the Danby cemetery.  Bearers were Walter Brown, Wayne Brown, 
Melborn Sandborn, Duncan McCormack, Robert Burns, and Harold Augst.
