                            GERTRUDE ETHEL ERDMAN

Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 p.m.from the Mapes Funeral Home in 
Sunfield for Mrs. Gertrude Ethel Erdman, 81, of 1000 Sparrow, Lansing., who died 
Friday morning at a Portland convalescent home.

Mrs. Erdman was born July 7, 1874, the daughter of Lyman and Sarah Jane Crane of 
Portland township. She had spent all her life in the Sunfield area except the 
last few years when she lived in Lansing. She was a member of the Sebewa Corners 
Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters,Mrs.Josephine McWhorter of Mulliken, Mrs.Elizabeth 
Anderson of Lansing; a son Wesley Dorin of Lansing; a brother Lyman Crane Jr., 
of Muir; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Robert Carson officiated at the Sunday service with burial at East 
Sebewa Cemetery.Active bearers were Vance McWhorter,Larry Dorin, Clair McWhorter 
Jr., Douglas Anderson, Kenneth Dorin, and Theodore Anderson. Honorary bearers 
were Mickey Dorin, Wesley Dorin, Jimmy Dorin and Raymond Dorin.
