Ionia County News, 9 Mar 1939

Mrs. Lena Erickson, 82, died at her home on S. Jefferson street, Tuesday
morning, March 7.  Death was due to a stroke suffered last Friday, March 3. 
Mrs. Erickson was born in Sweden, May 1, 1856.  In 1880 she was united in
marriage with Andrew Erickson and they came to Ionia soon after.

Surviving relatives are a son, Charles Erickson of Ionia, and a daughter, Mrs.
R.M. Moore, of Cleveland, O.  Mr. Erickson and four children died several years
ago.  Funeral service will be held at two o’clock Friday afternoon from Meyers’
Funeral home.  Burial in Highland Park cemetery.
