Ionia County News-Thursday October 31, 1935

HANS J. ERICKSON
The second accident occurred on the Main street of Sheridan Sunday night when a 
car, driven by Wilbur Fate of Ionia, struck and killed Hans J. Erickson, 55, farm 
laborer, living near Fenwick.

Montcalm county officials found that Fate was not to blame, because Erickson 
stepped directly into the path of the car, and the accident could not have been 
avoided.
