The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, November 11, 1925

Hubbardston, November 11.—Henry Ernst, a prominent farmer living one and one-
half miles out of town, died very suddenly at 4 o’clock Wednesday morning.  He 
had been in poor health for some time, but was able to be in town Tuesday, and 
his death came as a decided shock in the community.

Mr. Ernst was born in New York 52 years ago.  His wife was Julia Wright, 
formerly of Ionia.

He is survived by Mrs. Ernst and two stepsons, Clifford and Fred, of Detroit, 
and one grandson.  Also a brother, who lives near Fowler.
