Giana Neveah Ernst, 9 months, of Orleans, went to be one of God’s little angels 
on Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital, Grand 
Rapids.  She was born Nov. 27, 2006, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Nichoals 
and Toni Ernst.

Giana loved playing with her brothers, eating, Ozzy Osborn and dancing to 
music.  Her favorite thing was to sit on her mother’s lap in the evening and be 
rocked to sleep.

Giana is survived by her parents, Toni and Nicholas Ernst of Orleans; brothers, 
Alexander and Orin; grandparents, Sandra Isles of Orleans, Leon Ernst of St. 
Johns, Kathleen Goodman of Greenville, Jim Gale of Smyrna; her dog, Aries; and 
numerous loving great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends.

Private funeral services will be at Brigham Funeral Chapel, Belding.  The 
family requests that those wishing make a contribution in Giana’s name to the 
Ronald McDonald House at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital.  Envelopes will 
be available at the funeral home.  The family has entrusted funeral 
arrangements to Brigham Funeral Chapel, Thomas C. Maier, director, Belding.
