Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 30 Mar 1951

Frederick Herbert Erridge, 73, died at his Prairie Creek home Thursday at 1:30 
p.m. following an eight-year illness.

He was born Oct. 8, 1877, in Stanton,  In his early life he moved to Ionia 
county where he had resided since.  In 1904 he married Ida Shively of Prairie 
Creek.  Mr. Erridge was employed for many years by Mansfield and Hoag company 
and later by Michigan Ice and Storage company until he retired in 1940 due to 
ill health.

He was a member of the Ionia Church of Christ.

Surviving besides the widow are a daughter, Mrs. Florence Taylor, of Ann Arbor; 
three sons, Don and Richard of Ionia and Victor of Ann Arbor; and nine 
grandchildren.  Another son, Kenneth, died in 1917.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Stone-Kauffman 
funeral home.  Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery.
