Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 24 Mar 1971

William Herbert Erridge, 70, of 148 Mill died Tuesday noon at Ionia Manor.

Born September 6, 1900, in Ionia township he was the son of William D. and 
Susan Shivley Erridge.  In 1946 he was married to Eva Nave at Stanton.  For 
many years he was employed at Ionia Ice and Fuel company and later at Gibson 
Manufacturing at Belding where he was a welder.  He retired in 1964.

Surviving are his wife, Eva; one son, William D. Erridge of Portland; one 
stepson, Harold Nave of Ionia; ten grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; one 
sister, Mrs. Homer Patrick of Ionia; two brothers, John F. of Lakeview and Olan 
D. of Conway.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Stone-Kauffman funeral home.  Rev. 
Theodore Forbes will officiate and interment will be at Highland Park cemetery.
