Ionia Sentinel Standard, 18 Aug 1994

William D. Erridge, 74, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 1994, in Portland.  He was born 
Sept. 24, 1919, in Ionia to William and May (Walker) Erridge.

Mr. Erridge was a U.S. Navy Veteran of W.W. II, a member of V.F.W. Post #4090 
and retired from Fisher Body as a supervisor.

He is survived by his wife Evelyn; five daughters, Sandra (Roger) Trierweiler 
of Trufant, Judith (David) Courtney of Lyons, Kathryn (Clyde) Stewart of Muir, 
Pamela Fisher of Lyons, Debra (Dennis) Perry of Ionia; two sons, William (Mary) 
Erridge of Trufant, Raymond Bugbee of Portland; 25 grandchildren; 29 great 
grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Jones of Ionia.

Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m.  The family will receive friends 
from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the 
Gorsline-Runciman, Neller Chapel in Portland.  Pastor Elaine M. Buker of the 
Portland Methodist Church will be officiating.  Interment will follow in the 
Portland Cemetery, Portland.

Military graveside services will be conducted by V.F.W. Post #40990.

Memorial contributions may be left at the Chapel for the Portland Senior 
Citizens or the Hospice of Ionia.
