Ionia Sentinel Standard, 1998

Ionia – Mrs. Joan C. Erridge, 54, of Ionia died Feb. 24, 1998 at her home.  She 
was born the daughter of Paul & Norma (Andres) Letts on Nov. 24, 1943 in 
Ionia.  She attended the Ionia High School.  She married Richard F. Erridge in 
1960 in Ionia.  She was a member of the SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in 
Ionia.

Surviving are her husband Richard F.; one son, Randy (Jan) Erridge of 
Westphalia; two daughters, Judy Erridge and Annette Hearns both of Ontario, CA; 
her mother Norma Letts of Ionia; her mother in law, Gayla Erridge of Saranac; 
six grandchildren; three brothers, James Letts of Ionia, Richard Letts of Ionia 
and Larry Letts of Pewamo; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Funeral Mass will be offered 11 a.m. Saturday from the SS. Peter & Paul 
Catholic Church in Ionia with Fr. Melvin Fox as Presider.  Interment in Mount 
Olivet Cemetery.  Visiting hours:  2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday with a 
Prayer Vigil Friday at 8 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home in Ionia.  Memorial 
contributions can be made to the Ionia County Memorial Hospital – Home Care in 
care of the Cook Funeral Home.
